Volunteer & Outreach
Calls of Kindness and Care Notes
This outreach offers connection and compassion to senior parishioners through regular check-in phone calls and handwritten notes. Volunteers provide a caring presence, friendly conversation, and reassurance that our parish community remembers and values them. A simple call or note often makes a meaningful difference.
Food Pantry
Through the generosity of our parishioners, we collect non-perishable food items at all church locations and parish offices to support local families in need. These donations help stock local food pantries and provide nourishment and hope to neighbors experiencing food insecurity.
Collection Drives
Throughout the year, our parish communities organize collection drives to support individuals and families facing hardship. Donations may include food, school supplies, personal care items, clothing, and financial contributions, all benefiting local organizations and outreach efforts serving those most in need.
Homebound Visitation
Homebound Visitations bring the care and presence of the parish to those unable to attend Mass due to illness, age, or mobility challenges. Through visits, prayer, conversation, and the sharing of Holy Communion when appropriate, volunteers help ensure that no member of our parish family feels forgotten or isolated.
Souper Saturday
Souper Saturday is a hands-on outreach ministry dedicated to feeding those in need within our local community. Parish volunteers prepare and serve warm meals while offering hospitality, dignity, and kindness to all who attend. It is a powerful way to live out Christ’s call to serve others.
Tiny Tim Project and Christmas Giving Tree
During the Advent season, the Tiny Tim Project and Christmas Giving Tree help bring joy and hope to children and families in need. Parishioners are invited to sponsor gifts, donate essentials, and support local organizations, making the spirit of Christmas tangible through generosity and love.
Beautification Team
This ministry helps keep the grounds at our worship sites clean, attractive, and welcoming. Volunteers meet during the spring, summer, and fall to weed, trim, water, and care for planters and gardens surrounding our churches. The work is physically demanding but deeply rewarding and appreciated by all who worship here.
House of God Cleaners
House of God Cleaners serve by caring for the interior spaces of our churches. On a regular basis, volunteers sweep, dust, polish, and clean to ensure our worship spaces remain beautiful and reverent places to gather and pray. All help is welcomed and greatly appreciated.
World Refugee Day
World Refugee Day is observed by our parish community as a time of prayer, education, and solidarity with refugees and displaced persons around the world. Through awareness efforts and charitable support, we reflect on the Church’s call to welcome the stranger and uphold the dignity of every human life.
